The idea is for you to get the compression without being uncomfortable. We recommend you start wearing your girdle or corset the day you are getting back home from the hospital. Please do not choose a smaller size because you won’t be able to wear it when you needed it most.

If you don’t have a measuring tape, you can do this:

1. Grab a piece of ribbon or a shoelace and wrap it around your hips under your belly.
2. Mark the ribbon where it comes together.
3. Grab a ruler and measure.

If you don’t have ruler:

1. Grab a letter size piece of paper, that piece of paper is 11" tall.
2. Measure the piece of ribbon or shoelace and you will get your hips measure and the correct size for your Bellefit.

If your pre-pregnancy jeans were 8-10, you will need a Medium Post-Partum Girdle or Corset. Check out our Chart for your correct size.
If you gain more than 33 pounds during pregnancy you may need a bigger size in your Post-Partum Girdle or Corset.

BelleFit Prenatal Support Belt

1. The pre-natal support belt is like the “hands free” option, for the pregnant mom by eliminating the need to use their hands to “carry the belly” to alleviate a heavy belly or back pain.
2. Pregnant moms will be able to remain at their jobs all the way through to their scheduled last day at work.
3. It can be worn starting the 20th week of pregnancy.
4. Since Velcro its located at the end of the straps, the pre-natal support can be adjusted to each moms comfort level, so it won’t have the “squeeze” effect on the belly. Easy fastening and release.
5. It can be worn either under or over clothes. Easy to put on and take off.
6. Does not allow the skin to over-stretch thus helping reduce the possibility of stretch marks.
7. Doctor Recommended.

How To Choose

  • If you are having a C-Section, you should get the Post Partum Corset. It will be easier for you to put it on without pulling your incision. You will be able to pull it up, lie down and close the hooks. You will fell the support and compression when you stand up and your incision will be protected. It will be easy to walk around, sit down, cough, sneeze and go to the bathroom.
  • The Post Partum Pull-up Girdle and Post Partum Girdle with Zipper are good after Natural Birth. They are all made with the same fabric and design. The only difference between them is the way to put it on.
  • The best time to start wearing your Girdle or Corset is the day you are leaving the Hospital to go back home. It will give you the compression you’ll need to walk and get in the car to go back home.
